There are 5 laboratories for recreational activities at the Home; there, the Guests, accompanied by volunteers, express their creativity and produce items that are displayed each year at an exhibition that raises funds for the adoption of foster children in the Third World.

The laboratories are:

- for producing the newspaper, La voce di Casa Verdi (The Voice of Casa Verdi), and a computer room;
- floral art;
- knitting atelier;
- painting atelier;
- the world of jewelry.
