Guests of the RSA may also take advantage of other common areas in the Institute that are accessible to the handicapped; these include the Concert Hall, Library, Chapel, Music rooms, art therapy labs, painting labs, and other labs reserved for occupational activities.

Guests may receive visitors from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Building access and admissions criteria

Guests reach the Casa di Riposo’s RSA by following the criteria set down in the Statute and in the Current regulation.

Requests to be admitted to the RSA must be addressed to the Foundation’s board of directors.

Fee

For Guests who are professional musicians there is no fixed fee, but rather a contribution to expenses based on per capita income, whereas non-musician Guests must pay a monthly fee amounting to a total reimbursement of expenses; this is set periodically by the Board of Directors. In 2008 it came to 2,158 euros a month for Class 1-4 (Guests who are not self-sufficient) and 1,579 euros a month for Class 5-8 (partially self-sufficient Guests).

A Guest’s admission depends upon acceptance on his or her part, and/or by close relatives, of the legal document in which a contribution to the costs (not including the regional healthcare fee) is specified.

The Region of Lombardy contributes an additional amount that partially covers healthcare expenses, subdivided into categories according to the level of disability:

-  Euro 47.50 for Category 1
-  Euro 45.30 for Category 2
-  Euro 39.10 for Category 3
-  Euro 35.00 for Category 4
-  Euro 38.60 for Category 5
-  Euro 34.50 for Category 6
-  Euro 28.80 for Category 7
-  Euro 24.70 for Category 8

No additional payment is required, inasmuch as the contribution toward hospitality includes all services – room and board as well as nursing and healthcare.
