GUIDE FOR GUESTS
 
Information

The operator is available to provide the Guests with information every day, including Sundays and holidays, from 8.15 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., at the following telephone number: (0039) 02 4996009.

Daily schedule

7.00 - 9.00 a.m.                    wake-up
8.00 - 9.30 a.m.                    breakfast served in the dining hall
8.15 a.m. - 12.15 p.m.         hygienic activities, rehabilitation, and exercises
12.30 p.m.                               lunch served in the dining hall
2.00 - 6:45 p.m.                     afternoon rest, or various recreational activities
7.00 p.m.                                 dinner served in the dining hall


The schedule of some activities may be altered, depending on the Home's programs and the needs of individual Guests.

Visits from relatives and friends

Access for visiting the Guests is open from 8.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Health Service

Health service is guaranteed by the following professional and social personnel, who work together for the health and well-being of the individual:

- doctor specializing in geriatrics and cardiology, who is also the Coordinator of the service;
- general practitioner for self-sufficient Guests who are part of the Hotel Home;
- doctor specializing in physiotherapy;
- health assistance is guaranteed by the presence of professional nurses on shifts 24 hours a day, including Sundays and holidays, and of auxiliary social assistants. The service is coordinated by the head nurse;
- physiotherapeutic service provides rehabilitation therapists in addition to specialized doctors;
- podiatry service is carried out as indicated by the doctor or by the person in charge of the service.
- Consultations with specialists: the Guests may take advantage of specialized consultations either within or outside the Home, in accordance with the general practitioner's indications. Guests may apply to the Head Nurse to carry out the necessary procedures and to decide on the right method for each case.
- In case of emergency, the Guests are taken to the hospital; the nursing staff has the responsibility of notifying family members immediately.
- The Administration undertakes to cover the transportation expenses of Guests who are not self-sufficient to medical appointments outside the Home.

All Guests resident in the Home may take advantage of the nursing service by telephoning 02/49960002 or by using the alarm service with which each apartment is equipped.

The health care team meets periodically to work out individual plans as well as to check the results and evaluate objectives. It also maintains communication with family members, conscientious objectors, and volunteers who work in the various wards.
