Living at Casa Verdi isn't like living in a typical rest home for the aged.

The Guests don't live in Casa Verdi: they live Casa Verdi in various ways, even if only by listening to the many stories of private and public life that can be heard in the hallways of this residence.
Music, which, in one way or another, brings all the Guests together, is still one of their main activities, carried out individually or by giving lessons to young students.

But among the various activities to which the Guests can dedicate their time in the course of a day, there are also knitting and painting ateliers, laboratories dedicated to the art of floral composition or of jewelry-making, and even the production of a periodical, La voce (The Voice).

In addition, concerts are of course frequently given at the Home, and groups are organized for outings in and out of town.
